ITERU Collection

Intimately connected to the earth, sun, air, and hands that create it, pottery is a magnificently raw act of art. This rawness extends back thousands of years. Ancient Egyptians, one of the first civilizations to sculpt pottery, utilized the art to create objects for the preparation, storage, and consumption of food and drink.
This earthenware collection is a tribute to the legacy of Egyptian pottery. In Ancient Egypt, clay was harvested from the silt covering the banks of the Nile River, also named as Iteru in Ancient Egyptian language. Organic, authentic, and minimal, this line is a contemporary reimagining of the pharaonic art of pottery.
Our artisans use historic techniques to handcraft this tableware collection.
Each handmade piece will vary slightly in appearance, which makes the product one of a kind.
