MARMONIL X ANALOGUE Large Mamma Taweret
MARMONIL X ANALOGUE COLLABORATION
TAWARET Carrara Marble Hippo is an iconic accessory that transcends contemporary time and space. A collector's favorite, it is timeless, classic, and can be used in numerous types of displays.
The sculpture is a modern rendition of Taweret, the goddess of fertility and the protection of pregnant mothers in ancient Egyptian mythology. The deity was depicted as a hippopotamus with physical attributes from other animals, including humans, lions, and crocodiles. Analogue’s Taweret Hippo embodies the traits of Taweret—strength, resilience, and regeneration—only in a contemporary, minimal body.
This piece is part of a collection of traditions, stories and passion, by Karim Mekhtigian in collaboration with Marmonil.
